Neuropathy is experienced by nearly 20 million Americans.

With pain, numbness, and burning - it can be debilitating and life-changing.

Neuropathy Pain Relief in Richmond, TX

Neuropathy refers to a condition characterized by damage or dysfunction of the peripheral nerves, which are responsible for transmitting signals between the central nervous system (the brain and spinal cord) and the rest of the body. Neuropathy is caused by conditions including diabetes, infections, traumatic injuries, autoimmune diseases, and exposure to certain toxins. As a consequence of nerve damage, individuals with neuropathy often experience a range of symptoms such as pain, tingling, numbness, and weakness in the affected areas.

Neuropathy can significantly impact a person's quality of life, affecting mobility and daily activities. Neuropathy is more than painful - it's also stressful, bothersome, and all-encompassing. It causes both men and women to become reclusive, depressed, and unable to enjoy life. If you're suffering from neuropathy, you might feel like all hope is lost. But the team at Texas Nerve and Spine are here to help.

Neuropathy relief in Richmond, TX, is more achievable than you might think, and it doesn't need to involve harmful surgeries or addictive pain medications.

The Texas Nerve and Spine Difference

Difference

At our nerve and spine clinic in Richmond, TX, we have a simple philosophy: Treat every patient the same way that you would treat your parent, spouse, or child if they were patients at Texas Nerve and Spine. Neuropathy

Neuropathy is nerve damage that causes pain, numbness, and burning in the extremities. This is a type of condition that does not get better on its own and it doesn't alleviate after the use of traditional medical treatments or prescription pain meds.

Pain from neuropathy causes a domino effect; it starts with inflammation, leading to decreased blood supply. This reduction in blood supply results in a lack of oxygen. When your body doesn't get enough oxygen, it loses crucial nutrients that your body needs. This progressive effect often leads to long-term problems such as:

  • Chronic Pain
  • Motor-Function Loss
  • Loss of Sensation
  • Muscular Atrophy
  • Loss of Movement
  • Depression

But with our Brain to Body Strengthening System, patients suffering from neuropathy build strength through rehabilitation. This advanced system helps:

  • Stimulate New Nerve Pathways
  • Strengthen and Grow Muscles
  • Promote Cellular Repair
  • Improve Circulation and Blood Flow

Our Brain to Body System is central to our approach to neuropathy relief in Richmond, TX. By following our system, we can provide several services to patients suffering from neuropathy.

What Our Clients Say

Spinal Decompression Therapy

Spinal conditions that cause neuropathy range in severity from bearable to crippling. To get to the bottom of your spine conditions, our team uses X-Rays to pinpoint the location of your spine's disease. From there, we craft a custom rehabilitation program that addresses the underlying causes of your pain and neuropathy.

How Does Spinal Decompression Therapy Work?

Spinal decompression works by gently stretching the spine. When the spine is stretched, it changes its position. This change relieves pressure off the discs in your spine, which act as cushions in your back. By creating negative pressure, herniated and bulging discs retract, giving the nerves and structures in your back relief. This relief sends nutrient-rich fluids and oxygen to the discs so they can heal properly.

RICHMOND, Texas — Twenty-three cars of a Union Pacific train derailed today (March 18) in the Houston suburb of Richmond. No evacuation has been ordered, although officials say leaks have been detected from two cars carrying ethanol.

“Both leaks are contained,” Fort Bend County Fire Marshal Justin York said in a press conference carried by KRIV-TV. “It is not posing any threat to the public and air monitoring is ongoing as a precaution. There is no need for evacuation at this time.”

York said the situation “remains active and under assessment as crews continue to evaluate all railcars. … This is a complex operation and will take time to complete safely.”

Union Pacific said in a updated statement to Trains that the derailment occurred about 5 a.m. and that no one was injured. “Three derailed tank cars released product: one released corn syrup, the other two released ethanol,” the statement said. “The spills have been contained, and recovery of the product is underway. The incident is under investigation.”

The railroad did not have an estimated time for reopening the main line.

The National Transportation Safety Board said in a social media post this afternoon that it is sending a team to investigate the incident.

The derailment occurred adjacent to U.S. Route 90 near OakBend Medical Center in Richmond, a community of 11,627 (as of 2020) about 30 miles southwest of Houston. The incident originally blocked all grade crossings in the Richmond area, but as of about 10:30 a.m., the City of Richmond said in a Facebook post that the remainder of the train had been moved east to alleviate the blockage.

The derailment site is on Union Pacific’s Glidden Subdivision. It is about 15 miles west of the site a Tuesday grade crossing collision between Amtrak’s Sunset Limited and a truck [see “Two minor injuries reported …,” Trains.com, March 18, 2026]. Amtrak is citing the derailment on social media as a reason for the full-route cancellations of today’s Sunset Limited departures from Los Angeles and New Orleans. The westbound train had previously been canceled between New Orleans and San Antonio because of Tuesday’s accident.

RICHMOND, Texas (KTRK) -- A Richmond man is looking for answers after he said that a utility pole was installed feet away from his back door, and is spraying a dark substance.

Ivo Quinonez is trying to figure out what's happening in his backyard.

"As soon as you walk out of the door you can smell it," Quinonez explained. "It's kind of strong."

It's not just his sense of smell that's noticed the change. His eyes can't miss what's feet away from his back door.

A week ago, Quinonez said CenterPoint Energy crews installed a power pole.

"I couldn't believe it," Quinonez recalled. "I know they came and marked on the floor, but I didn't realize they were going to put that right in front of my door."

The pole, Quinonez said, isn't the only problem. He said it's leaking a substance that's spilled on the siding, furniture and appliances.

"It just doesn't come off," Quinonez said. "It doesn't rub off. I already tried cleaning it."

Quinonez said when he bought the home, he knew his backyard was an easement. This gives utility providers the right to do work on properties.

On its website, CenterPoint said land rights allow them to install equipment to provide service. With access to this much of his backyard, Quinonez wished the company put the pole somewhere else.

"Just move the post to the side at least," Quinonez said. "I'm okay with the post being in the backyard, but not in front of the door. That's not right, I think."

ABC13 reached out to CenterPoint about the pole's placement, and the substance leaking from it. A spokesperson told ABC13 they'd look into it, but added the company is busy preparing for a potential winter storm.
