Neuromuscular Re-Education Therapy

Nerves and muscles work in conjunction with one another to produce movement and locomotion. Nerves send signals between the brain and the muscles, which help dictate when, where, and how the body moves through space. Unfortunately, muscle movement patterns are negatively affected when nerves or muscles experience damage or injury. This can result from trauma, medical conditions like diabetes, neurological conditions like stroke or brain injury, medical procedures like chemotherapy/radiation therapy, or surgical procedures, specifically spine surgeries. Our Neuromuscular Re-Education Therapy Programs are designed, engineered, and executed to “retrain” nerve signals. Our programs help facilitate the return of normal movement(s) in patients with neuromuscular impairments and disease.
