Neuropathy Rehabilitation

Peripheral neuropathy occurs when there is a lack of blood flow to the nerves in areas like your feet and hands. When these nerves are devoid of blood, they begin to decay and degenerate because they don't have enough oxygen or nutrients. Eventually, the nerves in your body shrivel up, causing pain, numbness, balance problems, and other painful symptoms.

How Does Peripheral Neuropathy Rehabilitation Work?

Our Brain to Body program works wonders for neuropathy issues like these by using state-of-the-art technology like laser therapy and personalized, strategic plans of action created around our patient's needs. If you're looking for both short and long-term pain relief from peripheral neuropathy, this could be the solution you need.

Spinal Decompression Therapy

Spinal conditions range in severity from barely noticeable to absolutely crippling. To get to the bottom of your spine conditions, our team uses X-Rays to pinpoint the location of your spine's disease. From there, we craft a custom rehabilitation program that addresses the underlying causes of your spine pain. Often, part of that therapy includes spinal decompression.

How Does Spinal Decompression Therapy Work?

Spinal decompression works by gently stretching the spine. When the spine is stretched, it changes its position. This change relieves pressure off the discs in your spine, which act as cushions in your back. By creating negative pressure, herniated and bulging discs retract, giving the nerves and structures in your back relief. This relief sends nutrient-rich fluids and oxygen to the discs in your back so they can heal properly.

Journey co-founder and lead guitarist Neal Schon said he "offered to play tonight" to make up for last night's abrupt cancelation after an electrical fire broke out under the RodeoHouston stage.

Schon posted the message to Instagram Saturday morning, along with a short video of the band's performance before the accident.

"Last night at Houston TX Rodeo we had an amazing overly packed house of 79-80 thousand fans that showed up to see us!! The only unfortunate thing was that after getting off to a slamming start the Rodeo had an electrical failure and fire broke out under the stage," he wrote.

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by Neal Schon (@nealschon)

"Thank you Houston for singing Don’t stop Believin’ before we were rushed off the stage because of an electrical fire and were not able to return. I felt terrible for our fans and offered to play tonight and make it up to y’all but they were not able to make it happen so until next time - Love and Respect."

If Rodeo organizers would have taken Schon and Journey up on the offer, they would have replaced country singer Warren Zeiders, who is scheduled to make his debut tonight on the rotating stage. There are still plenty of tickets available for Zeiders' performance.

Journey was performing — what else? — "Don't Stop Believin'" when the sound cut out four songs into their Rodeo set. The crowd continued singing the song for about 20 seconds. A few minutes later, an announcer said he was "sure they're gonna return." But that never happened.

Arnel Pineda was trying but no sound. Crazy. #journey #RODEOHOUSTON pic.twitter.com/Eo6c3iHvxR

— Joey Guerra ???? (@joeyguerra) March 15, 2025

Organizers attributed it to "an unforeseen electrical incident under the stage area." Lead singer Arnel Pineda didn't seem to realize at first what happened but began waving his arms up and down at the sound booth. After a few minutes, the entire band descended the stage and exited the arena on foot.

An announcer told the crowd that "due to an electrical fire, the show cannot continue."

Even before Journey appeared, there seemed to be trouble. The stage's five star points stayed suspended in the air as the intro music played. They were down by the time the band kicked off with "Only the Young." They performed "Be Good to Yourself" and "Stone in Love" before being cut off during "Don't Stop Believin'."

Journey's second RodeoHouston appearance was among this year's top-selling shows. The band drew a crowd of 72,109 paid attendance in 2022.

Sound problems also arose during Bun B's Birthday Bonanza, most notably during a set by R&B singer Coco Jones. The sound was nonexistent during her song "Here We Go," slightly better during "Taste" and serviceable during "ICU."

TEXAS — The General Services Administration on Tuesday released a list of more than 400 federal properties that could be sold or closed, including several Texas buildings, because they have been deemed non-essential for government operations.

Hours later, however, the administration issued a revised list with only 320 entries. By Wednesday morning, the list was gone entirely. “Non-core property list (Coming soon)” the page read.

The General Services Administration, which published the lists, did not immediately respond to questions about the changes or why the properties that had been listed had been removed.

The initial list had included some of the country’s most recognizable buildings, along with courthouses, offices and even parking garage and spanned nearly every state.

In Washington, D.C., it included the J. Edgar Hoover Building, which serves as the FBI headquarters, the Robert F. Kennedy Department of Justice Building, the Old Post Office building, where President Donald Trump once ran a hotel, and the American Red Cross headquarters. The headquarters of numerous agencies, including Department of Labor and the Department of Housing and Urban Development, were listed as well.

Reducing federal office space has been one of the Trump administration's top priorities since assuming power in January. GSA regional managers last month were told by the agency's Washington headquarters to begin terminating leases on all of the approximately 7,500 federal offices nationwide.

"We are identifying buildings and facilities that are not core to government operations, or non-core properties for disposal," a message on the GSA website stated.

"Selling ensures that taxpayer dollars are no longer spent on vacant or underutilized federal spaces. Disposing of these assets helps eliminate costly maintenance and allows us to reinvest in high-quality work environments that support agency missions."

These are the federal buildings in Texas that the GSA said Tuesday are "designated for disposal":

Joann currently operates around 800 stores across 49 states.

HOUSTON — Joann, the crafting and fabrics retailer, will be shutting down and conducting going-out-of-business sales at all its store locations.

The company declared chapter 11 bankruptcy in January for the second time in less than a year, initially saying it would keep stores open while restructuring its debt and trying to find a buyer. However, earlier this month Joann received court approval to close more than half of its remaining stores.

But now, just a couple weeks later, the plan is for all of its roughly 800 locations to close and for the struggling retailer to shutter after more than 80 years in business.

Joann recently held an auction to acquire substantially all of the company's assets and GA Group together with the Prepetition Term Loan Agent were the winners.

The winning bidders plan to begin winding down the company's operations and conduct going-out-of-business sales at all store locations, a spokesperson for Joann confirmed.

"JOANN leadership, our Board, advisors and legal partners made every possible effort to pursue a more favorable outcome that would keep the company in business. We are committed to working constructively with the winning bidder to ensure an orderly wind-down of operations that minimizes the impact on all our stakeholders. We deeply appreciate our dedicated Team Members, our customers and communities across the nation for their unwavering support for more than 80 years,” a spokesperson added.

When will Joann stores start closing?

Going-out-of-business sales were already underway at the 533 stores approved in the initial round of closures. According to the retailer's website, closing sales will begin - or continue - at all locations "immediately," subject to court approval.

A final sale hearing has been scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 26 in bankruptcy court.

Joann is also no longer accepting returns and gift cards are currently only being accepted through Friday, Feb. 28.

This is the second time Joann has declared bankruptcy in less than 12 months. In April 2024, the company completed a restructuring that saw it delisted from the U.S. stock exchange and become a private company as part of a bankruptcy deal.

The company announced on Jan. 15 that it was seeking court approval in Delaware to begin the process of selling "substantially all of its assets," according to a press release about the move.

Below is a list of the more than stores Joann announced it would be closing in early February. As of Feb. 24, company said it will now close all its stores.
