Plantar Fasciitis
The planter fascia is a thick band of tendons under the foot. Plantar Fasciitis occurs when those tendons are overworked and over-stretched. The overuse of the planter fascia causes pain and inflammation where it attaches to the heel bone. However, feet that pronate (turn inward), high arches, wearing unsupportive shoes, excessive weight, and tight calf muscles can also cause Plantar Fasciitis.
“We don’t treat your symptoms, we build your health.” ~ Dr. David Martino D.C.
